Play or School

With two extra little ones here for the next several days, I have been debating whether to do school or not with Meg.  She's been having so much fun playing with her cousin that I don't know how much we'll accomplish.

I may try some reading and some read alouds, but our learning time may be limited.  This time with so many little ones definitely gives me respect for families with lots of little ones every day.  I don't know how they get school accomplished consistently. It must take a lot more scheduling.

Of course, this wasn't a slow transition for us. This was a sudden and temporary period of helping out family in an emergency.  The addition of a one year old and a three year old seems to have quadrupled the work load around here. My older girls have been a great help.

These two boys are great boys.  I am trying to enjoy my time with my nephews without getting overwhelmed.  It's a decision I've made, to enjoy the young boys God has placed in my home, even temporarily.
