Indianapolis Children's Museum Pt. 1 - Dinosaurs

It was a bit of a trek, but SO worth it.  On Friday I went with my sister to the Indianapolis Children's Museum.  Wanting to take a cool field trip, I was just as excited as Laura and Megan to visit this famous museum.  We covered a lot of ground in a few hours, and I took LOTS of pictures.  However, I believe it is too much to do in one post.  So, our field trip will be done in a series of posts.
Our first stop was the dinosaurs.  Laura and I studied dinosaurs both last year and this year.  Laura is fascinated by them.  We have loved books by Ken Ham about dinosaurs and creation.
The dinosaur exhibit, called the Dinosphere, at the Indianapolis Children's Museum is Wonderful!  In fact, it is so good that Megan was a little afraid of the dinosaurs and sound effects.
Megan stayed pretty close to Mom or Laura the entire time.
Laura's new friend.
Megan isn't so sure about the dinosaurs.
Laura's favorite dinosaur is the T-Rex.  She was very excited to see the skeleton of one.
Near the exhibit was an area for younger children.  Both girls had fun dressing up as dinosaurs.
Megan enjoyed this part.
Then there was the paleontology lab where the girls could explore different tools, fossils, and bones.
Laura loved this dinosaur bone!
Megan thought she was doing something great when she was playing with these special tools.
I started with Laura's favorite exhibit.  But look at this view!  Isn't it spectacular?
