We celebrated my husband's birthday last Friday. His birthday lands right near Christmas, in the middle of all the Christmas festivities. That has never bothered my husband though. He is honored to share his birthday the same month we honor the birth of Christ.
I made his requested homemade Ice Cream Cake. I sprinkled it with some Christmas sprinkles. It may seem odd to have ice cream cake in the middle of winter, but our family loves this treat.
All the girls gathered around to help Dad celebrate.
We all enjoyed celebrating the wonderful husband, father, and son-in-law that my husband is. My mother came to share in the day.
The girls had a good time together, playing and practicing some music, and adding an atmosphere of fun to the house.
Happy Birthday, my wonderful husband.
