Laura has been reading about Birds this last couple weeks. She had an experiment with an egg that really intrigued her. First, she soaked a chicken egg in vinegar for three days. When she took it out, the shell was gone and the egg had swollen with the water that soaked into the membrane.
It was huge... and squishy. The next step is to drain out the vinegar and then soak the egg in Karo Syrup.
We'll see on Monday how the egg looks after three days in the syrup.
