Last week I had the opportunity to get away for the weekend. I went with some wonderful ladies from my church. We rented a beautiful apartment-type dwelling on a golf course about 45 minutes away. It was lovely.
The views were magnificent. Due to computer issues, I wasn't able to share much till now.
We got to spend two days and nights focusing on God. We worshiped together, prayed together, and had some time just to relax and unwind. We ate some amazing meals. It was such a joy to be able to get away from the day to day routine, refresh ourselves in the Lord, and enjoy the company of other Godly ladies.
Not far away was a local amusement park. It was closed for the season, but the view of the Ferris wheel and roller coaster was pretty.
Fall had definitely set in, and the trees were beautiful in the morning sun.
We didn't spend a lot of time outside. We didn't need to. The views from the windows afforded us so many glimpses of nature that we only had to enjoy.
I am so happy that I got the opportunity to get away and spend some time one on one with the Lord. So often, I get busy. I don't always take the time I need to with God. I was reminded over the weekend that I am blessed and that I am loved very much by an amazing King, Jesus Christ.
