To Grandmother's House

We spent Saturday at Grandma's House.  Grandma lives out in the country.  The girls all enjoy going to Grandma's.  There is so much to do there that the kids never get bored.  There is space to run and old toys to play with.  There is things to look at and touch.
With the arrival of fall, the beauty of all the trees at Grandma's house is breathtaking.  We usually try to get to Grandma's a couple times in the fall just to enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Megan was fascinated by a simple acorn for several minutes.  She was thrilled that it was the food for the squirrels.
Many of the cousins had come over as well.  Laura had a blast playing with all the younger girls outside.  She pushed them on the swing and up the hill on tricycles and the little car.
When Uncle Robbin brought out his pet ferret, the children all had to have a turn holding and petting it.
Megan couldn't resist giving the little guy a little hug.
Laura wanted to keep him, but I had to say "NO" at that point.
Even inside, we all enjoyed just the time to visit and be together.
Of course, the toys at Grandma's house aren't the usual ones that we have at home.  Megan played happily for a long time with the different toys.  By the time we went home, everyone was well fed and tired.  It was a good day.
