Everything went well for a first day. Laura got up and got dressed and was actually motivated. I guess I expected her to not want to start school since her friends are all still on summer break. Instead we dived in and enjoyed it.
We started around 9. We were completely finished by lunch.
The funnest part of our school day was the scavenger hunt we did for Drawn Into the Heart of Reading. Laura cracked me up, trying to hold everything in her hands all at once. It was a great start to the school year.
