The Adventure of a Photo Shoot

My sister came by today to take some pictures of my daughters as a gift for my husband for Father's Day.  She just recently began a photography business, Kendal Nicole Photography, and is also taking some classes in photography to learn all she can.

I love taking pictures too, but decided to let her have her fun.  However, I decided to have my own fun and take some pictures of the photo shoot.  It was so funny.  Getting all five of my daughters to pay attention at the same time was nearly impossible.  Plus, since it was nearing sunset, the mosquitoes were nearly intolerable.
Our first challenge was corralling both Megan, age 4, and my nephew, age almost 2.  They wanted to run.  My nephew wanted to head to the road or the water.  Megan just wanted to be anywhere we weren't taking the picture.
The girls wanted to clown around.
Megan kept climbing things.
Laura started getting antsy after a few mosquitoes seemed to like her too much.
Kim and Tasha were trying to help get the little ones to cooperate... but it wasn't working very well.
Needless to say, the girls must have taken a couple dozen pictures.
The final results won't be in for a couple of days.  My sister has to edit the images first.  In nearly every image it seemed one child or another was making a crazy expression.  Megan does that a lot.  I usually take more candid shots of her than portraits where she is required to look at me and smile.
I couldn't help but laugh at this picture.  Nope... this isn't one of the nice ones.  This is just my girls being my girls.  This won't be the nice, pretty one we give Daddy.
