Christmas Day was with my husband's family. The kids enjoyed seeing all the cousins. We drew names for the adults and hand-made gifts this year. I painted a picture for my sister-in-law (ok, I cheated with a pretty paint by number kit). My other sister-in-law made me a stained glass cross. She is really talented, so I liked that she drew my name.
There is always games and some clowning around. My husband livened up the day by wearing his great-nephew's hat.
Jasmine opened a very pretty hand-made bracelet. All the older girls had one with special charms picked out just for them.
Tasha's necklace had a cell phone charm. That was so perfect for my little text-aholic.
Kim's charm was a treble clef... also perfect.
Laura got lots of interesting and pretty gifts. This hat was probably the most interesting.
By the end of the evening the Christmas festivities had taken their toll on my dear little Megan. She zonked on Grandma's couch, sleeping until it was time for us to leave.
