Happy Mother's Day
These are beautiful roses that my oldest daughter bought me for Mother's Day. She had to work, but I did get to spend the day with all my other girls, including my step-daughter. It was a nice day outside. After a wonderful church service in which the visiting pastor preached about how important our job is as mothers, and how our prayers reach to heaven; I could only thank Jesus for the blessings he has given me. Then, we had lunch with my Mother, baby sister and her family. Finally, though it wasn't really a Mother's Day fun activity, I went grocery shopping. It was a busy day, but one that I enjoyed. My poor husband missed most of the fun since he had to work. He did take me out to eat a couple days ago to celebrate Mother's Day with me.
