Ultimate Field Trip - Barlowgirl/Superchick Concert

Tasha and Laura were treated to a night of awesome music when they were given tickets to Barlowgirl and Superchick. A friend had won the tickets from a local Christian Radio Station, Shine.FM, and discovered she couldn't use them because she was going out of town. She gave them to my oldest daughter, but she had to work and couldn't switch her schedule. Then the girls Aunt Kendal was given tickets for her birthday. So Tasha and Laura went with their aunt to see two of their favorite bands. Laura had been to one other concert. She'd gone to Pulse Fest when she was eight. However, this was front row seating with the opportunity to meet the bands. Laura and Tasha both were very excited! These two bands have been favorites of our family's for a few years now. They are both positive and Christ oriented.

The girls loved the high energy show. The girls said that both bands are truly amazing Live.

Laura and Tasha definitely had an unforgettable night. Meeting Barlowgirl meant a lot to them. They love what Barlowgirl stands for and have memorized their song lyrics to most of their songs. It is nice to meet other young women standing for Christ and His values.

The girls also met the band "Vota". A new band for the girls, they enjoyed their music and kind of crazy style.

The girls had a blast. It is rare that they get to do stuff like this. When the opportunity came I knew they should take it and have a great time. The way the tickets came to us was truly a gift and blessing from God.
