Letting God help Plan 4th Grade

Laura's curriculum for next year seems to be in the hands of God. Things just seem to fall in to place easily or not at all. I could lose a bid on Ebay, but find something used somewhere else, or vice-versa. All I know for sure is that Laura willl be using Saxon Math next year. She used Saxon at her public school for years, as have her sisters. Plus, I got the book for free. Actually, my husband and I paid for half of it a couple years ago for my step-daughter's tutoring. I asked if it was still around, and there it was.
I had a couple different directions I was considering for next year's studies. I don't want to buy tons of stuff. Stuff just creates clutter. I don't mind things like christian literature that the library doesn't have and good math, grammar, and spelling books, but I am trying to keep things kind of simple. I think I overcomplicated things for myself and Laura this year by trying so much. I am not frustrated about this because this year has been about experimentation and discovery. However, I don't want chaos to reign next year.
In the next few weeks I hope to finalize my next year's curriculum choices and plans. It may still be a bit of a hodge-podge selection of stuff, but that is fine with me if it is stuff that works for us. I've had to take into consideration our finances, a lifestyle with probable ministry studies for both my husband and me, the fact that I teach Sunday School and Wednesday Night Mpact Girls groups, three active teenagers - one of whom is here only certain days and another that is a type 1 diabetic, and a toddler that will be two in April. Yeah, simple seems nice right about now doesn't it?
