The Earth Was Formless

Megan learned about creation today.  We were reading from her science book, The World God Made, about how the earth was formless.  We then had a project to do to discover what formless means.

Formless:  Without Shape

Megan used water to represent how the earth was at the time of creation.  It was formless.  Something formless takes on the shape of whatever it is in.  Water, for example, takes on the shape of whatever container we put it in.

This was how Earth was until God formed it into the sphere it is now.

Megan poured water into several different sized and shaped containers to learn this lesson.  She did very well, not spilling any of the water until the end of the lesson.
