Our school year has officially started today, with only a few glitches.
Megan soared through her Kindergarten work. In fact, we had to go to the library and check out a bunch of books to keep her occupied while her sisters worked on their assignments.
Laura worked steadily. However, math had some setbacks. We really didn't work enough over the summer on Laura's math skills. I feared this would happen, that we would have to spend time in review. So, starting tomorrow, that is what we will be doing. Other than that, Laura did well in her studies.
Today was Jasmine's first day of homeschooling. Here in lied the glitches. Her curriculum wasn't delivered until after 1 p.m., and it was missing Geography and her Spelling/Vocabulary program. Her Geography should be delivered tomorrow. Her Spelling should be here in a few days. On the plus side, Jasmine enjoyed the work she did have. She loved the Bible study she was assigned.
My crazy girls are officially in 9th grade, 7th grade, and Kindergarten. We enjoyed our day today, despite the glitches. It was a promising start for the school year.
