The benefit of homeschooling is that we can choose our schooling days... for the most part. Public school kids often have homework and projects to do for school over the weekend. This weekend, Jasmine came home from school with a science project. Luckily, she loves science this year.
Jasmine had learned how to crush cans with air pressure. She enjoys this project. She actually giggles and takes delight in the crushing of the cans.
From a hot fire to cold water. The can is crushed. It is a fun experiment, and Jasmine had a good time with it. I am glad she enjoyed the project so much, since school is not her favorite thing right now.
She brought home a giant poster board to decorate with the experiment's steps.
This was her poster board. It wasn't entirely completed. She was adding in a picture of her completing the experiment and a couple of the crushed cans. Here's hoping that she gets a great grade.
