We are on Spring Break this week. With no school and warmer weather, I sent the girls outside. With a friend over, I hoped they would spend time playing something nice and clean, like on the swings. Nope... they played in the mud!
They found worms.
Last year Megan would throw the worms when they hit her hand. This year she held them and let them squirm around on her hands.
I was proud of my little nature girl.
I am hoping the week off renews our spirits. We've been enjoying our time in our studies, and we're looking forward to finishing out the year. With the exception of Easter, there aren't many breaks left in our school year until we finish for summer.
By the end of the playtime outside, Megan was coated in mud. I had to carry her to the shower so she wouldn't track all over the floor. On the plus side she had a wonderful time outside getting dirty.
