The Letter "A"

We are starting at the beginning with the letter A.  Today, in addition to our fingerplay, we taped a large A on the floor with masking tape for Megan to use as an object lesson.  It is precisely this kind of thing that makes me know for certain that this program is so wonderful.  I would not have thought of this on my own, but it reinforces the letter in my little girl's mind.
Playing games with the taped-on letter is just one activity that she does to learn not only the letter but the sound it makes.
I am assured that when the week is finished, Megan will know not only the letter but the sound.
