| Jasmine's first day of school |

My step daughter began public school today. She is now in seventh grade. While I would love for her to be homeschooled, that isn't an option at this time. We are proud of Jasmine. She works hard in her studies and has such a wonderful spirit.
At home, our studies continued. Why is the second day always rougher than the first? Megan didn't want to wake up. It took me a half hour to find my devotion notebook that had been moved sometime yesterday evening. We finally got back on track after our rough start, and though things weren't as smooth as yesterday, I am still counting the day as successful.
