The girls went to prom this weekend. They both looked gorgeous as they get ready to head off. Tasha went with a friend of hers from public school. I worried that, being homeschooled, she might miss some of these moments and later regret it. Well, that was a silly worry. She has had no problem going to prom.
This is Kim's last prom. She looked so pretty in green. I sometimes find it hard to believe she is a senior and is graduating in just a few weeks.
Tasha wore a beautiful blue sparkling dress. She's really dark from her spray tan that one of her friends got for her. I'm glad she had a good time.
An afterprom party was sponsored by a couple businesses and held at the school. I thought that was really awesome just for the simple fact that the kids were in a spot where they weren't going to be exposed to drinking or be at risk. The kids played all sorts of games from sumu-wrestling to jousting to jumping in bounce houses. All in all, this morning the girls were extremely tired, but they had a blast.
