Pioneer Days - Log Cabin

Our first stop at the Pioneer Days at our county fair was the log cabin.  The girls were surprised the the original family squeezed six children in a loft.  The entire cabin was about the size of my living room.
A Glimpse into the Past

It really made me consider how much we really need.  When we moved recently, we downsized considerably.  It was difficult, deciding what to leave behind.  And yet, the families that lived in cabins didn't need a whole lot.  They worked hard and were close families, with out cell phones or television or computers.  

I wonder how much we truly need.
