My six year old took it upon herself this week to cut her own hair. This saddened me greatly. It took a LONG time for my dear Meggy to grow her hair as long as it is, and now she is missing some from the top.
I cried. I admit it.
I tried to fix some of it. I gave my little one bangs, which I didn't want her to have. Naturally curly hair often does what it wants, and bangs tend to stick out or curl in some crazy fashion. But bangs, even crazy ones, are better than the horrible cut she gave herself.
The sides were fine, and pulling them up covers the short spikes on top.
It'll grow out... Eventually.
